New Scandinavian design created in collaboration with Claus Eriksen – inventor of the renowned Danish shrimp fly the “Pattegrisen”. Not only “Pattegrisen” will look beautiful on NS150. Most shrimp patterns will come alive on this hook.
This straight-eye curved design allows you to create lifelike shrimpy patterns for any salty destination in the world. The black nickel finish keeps the glare factor down, letting the hook blend in to the rest of your pattern. The hook is very strong and will not bend out on even the toughest battles with bones or trevally. The true test for us were the huge triggerfish in the South Pacific. We wanted a hook strong enough to keep from bending out when trying to keep triggers from retreating to their hiding places, but narrow enough and sharp enough to penetrate the hard, thick, rubbery lips of those crazy looking creatures.
