When you need to "get down" - you can boogie the day away with this removable lead shot. The Deschutes water is big, so it is not uncommon to need 2, 3, or even 4 BB shot in order to get your flies down deep in the fast water. Being on the bottom when nymphing and being close to the bottom can be the difference between hooking 25 trout per day and hooking 3.
