With these eyes, you get the same look and effect of beadchain eyes without the mess of having to cut the chain and have that little sharp bit sticking out through the hole in the eye. They have a groove in between the dumbell eyes which makes a solid perch on your hook when tyin gin the eyes. Made of solid brass, these give significant weight to your fly in the larger sizes.
