DESCHUTES ANGLER GUIDELINES:
We stand by our products and those of our industry partners. Deschutes Angler and most all of its respective industry partners will repair or replace a faulty product outside of normal wear and tear. Please see our Shipping and Return policy for details.
We sell our rod racks as single racks so one can mix-and-match two different (or same) racks as they please.
First things first, grab a magnet, any magnet, and check to see that your vehicle has a hood that is actually steel and not a non-magnetic material like aluminum. If the magnet sticks to the hood and roof, read on! If not, look into the Vacuum-Magnet racks or the Vacuum-Vacuum racks.
Simply place the triple magnet unit on the hood of your vehicle and the double magnet unit on the roof of your vehicle, strap the rods to each, and roll on down the road. The tripod of magnets on the hood unit will remain stable, even under the weight of 6-8 beefy reels attached to Spey rods. We safely travel at speeds up to 50 mph with a boatload of rods on this rack - no problem!
Having a safe and convenient way to move your rods up and down the river as you drive from spot to spot is an absolute gamechanger for anglers who access a river via a road. No more broken rods because your dog got caught in the line in the backseat of the car, no more rods flying out from under the windshield wipers, no more damage to rods bouncing around in the bed of a pickup, no more rod tips broken by the automatic window closing, or the wind slamming the door shut on the rods leaned up against the truck. Wipe the tears from your eyes as you recall the sickening crack of a rod breaking due to your carelessness and put the days of broken rods due to poor transportation behind you!
