When Lamson was creating the first-generation Liquid, they focused purely on the virtues and advantages a pressure-cast process can offer. With the Liquid S HD, they took these advantages to an even higher level. HD reels (full frame) completely capture and prevent even the thinnest running lines or mono from slipping between the frame and spool. This full frame version of Lamson's popular Liquid S is extremely durable and offered in sizes that pair up perfectly with Spey, Switch, and Euro nymphing rods. Featuring an impressive strength-to-weight ratio that comes from the unique pocket spar frame and full cage design that helps protect the spool. The Liquid S HD has large diameters, with an arbor and spool shape that is designed to promote clean spooling and quick line retrieval paired with a grippy drag knob for easy adjustments on the fly in any condition.
