Finn Raccoon

Raccoons from Finland? Well, not exactly, but this is one of the many common names attributed to the Asiatic Raccoon Dog. Finn raccoon fur is a beautiful, long, bushy, naturally tannish/orangish/brown colored hair - some parts of which have black tips. Finn Raccoon is a farmed fur with tail hair longer than that of Red Foxes, giving them the bragging rights as the longest furred animals of the farmer furbearers. 

We use this stunning hair for saltwater streamers, bushy trout streamers, steelhead wings, bulk in a winter steelhead fly pattern, and much more. Anywhere that you might use fox, arctic fox, polar bear, or black bear, Finn Raccoon might just be the fur of all furs to meet many of your fly tying needs. These are rounds cut from the tail of the Finn Raccoon and they vary a bit in color. You get a healthy hunk of fur in every package.
