Aqua Flies Tube Kit W/ Needle

Get started tying tube flies. The Aqua Flies tube kit contains all a beginner tube fly tier needs, except for the thread and feathers.

Whether tying salmon, steelhead, trout or other freshwater flies, Aqua Flies has the tubes you need. These tubes are made of a specially formulated polyethylene which remains flexible and durable in extreme fishing conditions, including near-freezing water and air temps. 

The Aqua Flies tube needle, included in this packet, is a perfect fit to securely hold the tube in the vise while tying. It has a flat back half which fits in ANY vise without need for accessory attachments, which tapers down to a round forward half. Slide the tube onto the round front part of the needle, push it back and around the flat part of the needle, and it will hold securely without spinning as you tie your fly pattern. 

The tube kit comes with a series of cones and weights which can be used with these tubes. The Ultra Tubing is perfect to use as a junction tube to secure the hook to the back of the tube fly.  The 1.8 mm tube can also be used as a liner for the 3 mm tubes or for weighted tube bodies. Apply a light flame to round off the end of the tube fly.
