Scientific Anglers Rod Sleeve

This is the best new product we have seen in a while - a great way to protect your rod while in the car or in the boat. The rod sleeve is designed to be pulled over your rod while it is strung up.You can leave your rod whole or take it apart in the middle and cover both halves of the rod. The sleeve keeps the line from tangling with other strung up rods and protects your rod and line. No more dogs tangled in rods and lines or flies hooked onto your upholstery in the car.

The rod sleeve will cover the graphite portion of a rod down to the cork but it does not cover the reel. Typically the cork handle will be exposed but the line and leader and fly are protected from snagging on anything.

This is cheap insurance for your rods - preventing them from getting snagged on overhanging branches and ripped from your boat while floating. These sleeves also prevent multiple rods standing or laying next to each other from getting their lines intermingled and tangled together. 

Sizing:

Single Hand Full Size is 95" or nearly 8 feet

Single Hand Half Size is 45" or 3 3/4 feet (breaking the rod into two pieces - it is covered)

Spey Rod Full Size is 140" or 11.5 feet

Spey Rod Half Size is 64" or 5 1/3 feet (rod in two pieces will be covered)
