REN 7140-5 Wide river rod for lighter lines and smaller flies. If you wade deep or have limited room behind you the longer rod will help.  Designed specifically with the lower Deschutes and similar summer steelhead rivers in mind, this rod is fun with a 5-8 lb steelhead but has the lower end strength to handle a B-arun if you find one.  This rod loves any scandi line in the 450-475 grain window, but is really at home with the Bridge tributary 6/7 or Next cast 45 6/7  line.  Perfect tool for Summer Steelhead or summer Salmon fishing!
