DETAILS
If you want to get your flies down deep quickly and you want them to stay down deep, you need your Skagit-style line to have multiple sinking densities. The pickpocket is a great line for putting your fly in the slow zone down near the bottom of the river. The back section of the line floats, the middle section has an intermediate sink rate of about 1.5-2 inches per second, and the front of the line is S3 with a sink rate of 3 inches per second. F/I/S3
- Head lengths are relatively short, making them easier to lift at the end of a swing for the next cast
- Powerful taper modeled after the Elite Skagit Max Power turns over the heaviest tips and flies
- Multi-Density Control maintains a straight line connection while allowing flies
475 Grain Head - good for a 6 weight or light 7 weight Spey rod

These shooting heads are designed to be used with a running line/shooting line with a loop to connect to the back of the head. Anglers should use this Skagit-style head with a sink tip off the front and a short leader no more than 4-5 feet in length.
The Skagit Pickpocket heads have a core strength of 50 lb and have a welded loop built on both the front and the back of the line.
