Badger fur is an excellent choice for a wing material for a steelhead or salmon hair wing fly. The brown and olive colors would be a good choice for a sculpin pattern. By dying over the natural badger, we are left with a nice, heavily barred bright hair. The underfur is soft and furry and can be used as dubbing.
