Barred Wood Duck Flank - Black/White

Barred Wood Duck Flank feathers are used on a variety of trout and steelhead flies. You can use two matched pairs to make wings, the black and white barring makes a great tail or even a dramatic hackle or throat on a steelhead fly. These feathers are very often used in the recipes for classic trout wet flies. The barring is also dramatic when these feathers are crafted into legs on trout nymphs or even as accents to your saltwater shrimp patterns.
