The Belly Flop Crab is a great permit or trigger fish pattern. As the name implies, this crab sinks quickly, belly down, thanks to the weight on the body - which is in addition to the lead eyes. This leggy little guy will fool the picky salty fish. The small white triangle of weight on the backside of this fly insures that it will always land hook up and the weed guard will keep the turtle grass from fouling the hook.
