Anyone who has tied brush flies and other saltwater baitfish patterns knows that keeping the eyeballs glued on the feathers or fibers can be quite challenging. On the tying vice the glue-on eyes look bombproof, but one or two casts over the saltwater in the tropical heat typically results in a blind fly without eyes. Since eyes are a trigger and an extremely critical part of a saltwater baitfish pattern, here is a pair of unweighted plastic eyes that you can lash to the hook and build the fibers around. They will never fall off!!
