This is the big stuff - mono cord! Many anglers start with this very thick thread, but soon realize that the heads on trout flies build up far too quickly with thread of this diameter. It is, however, popular in tying many saltwater patterns like Clousers. You can apply lots of pounds of pressure before this thread will break.
