Psuedo hair is synthetic non-animal hair that can be used in fly tying as a substitute for other long mammal hair such as bucktail, polar bear, arctic fox, black bear, skunk, or goat. The barring in this psuedo hair gives a fly a grizzly hackle effect which simulates the barring pattern found on many baitfish.
