A great material for white-winged steelhead hair wing patterns. This is also a wonderful natural material for parachute posts on dry flies. The hair is fine and straight.
Fly patterns that commonly use white calf body hair are:
Comparadun-style flies, Elk Hair Caddis (substituting white calf body for elk hair), Humpy, Parachute Adams, Wulff Patterns.
