If you are looking for a solid, mid-priced, American built fly rod, look no further than the St. Croix Legend Elite series of rods. Shop owners, John and Amy Hazel had no intention of bringing another brand into the shop, but, after casting these rods on the lawn next to the shop, they decided that our customers would love this American-made piece of craftsmanship.
The action of the rod is medium-fast, light, crisp and accurate. All of the Legend Elite models are 4-piece rods for ease of storage and travel.
St. Croix rods are designed and precision-crafted in Park Falls, Wisconsin, USA. They feature hard chrome snake guides, double-foot hard chrome Fuji SiC stripper guides, and come with a 15 year warranty.
 The grip: Snub nose (379-4), micro full wells (490-4 and 590-4) super-grade cork handle with cork-rubber accents
The reel seat is custom uplocking, machined aluminum (all models) with rosewood inserts (379-4, 490-4, and 590-4 models)
Each rod comes with an aluminum rod tube with rod sock.Â
