Hareline UV2 Coastal Blacktail Hair Bleached

Coastal blacktail deer have a unique type of hair - quite different from the much more common whitetail or mule deer found all over the country.  The fibers are a bit more fine and, because they do not endure a harsh winter, there tends to be less dense underfur. Bleached premium coastal blacktail deer hair can be used in a variety of dry fly patterns for trout as well as muddler patterns for steelhead. This hair has UV2 fluorescent properties due to a special proprietary treatment of the hair during the bleaching process.
