Bronze Mallard Flank Feathers are beautiful and soft fly tying feathers that are used in many well-known steelhead and Atlantic salmon fly patterns. These are hand-selected and hand-matched. We are offering three different sizes and have a very limited supply of these feathers.
We provide photos to show you the approximate sizes of feathers in each package of small, medium, or large. When used for a wing on a fly like the Lady Caroline, the SMALL bronze mallard feathers will be the correct length for a wing on steelhead hook sizes 7, 8, 9, or 10. Small bronze mallard can also be used as a hackle feather. The MEDIUM bronze mallard feathers will be the correct length for a wing on steelhead hook sizes 3, 4, 5, 6. The LARGE bronze mallard feathers will be the correct length for a wing on a steelhead hook in size 1.5, 2, and the size 3 hooks that tend to run larger (like Blue Heron hooks).

Quantities will be limited to one package in each size per customer, until we have a better supply. These have been out of stock for years and are difficult to source. We would like several of our customers to have the opportunity to buy these feathers.
